did she think that it would make it a better book by killing all these people???? i think it would of been better if dobby and fred live............what do u think?

Because it is a war! And lots of people die in war. It wouldn't have been a war if only a few people died. And if main characters didn't die than it wouldn't have been realistic.

What I wish would really happen is that Harry Potter should kill JK Rowling. From what I have heard, the woman does not like Americans, yet she has gotten really rich from all of us. To hell with her. The movies are good though..........

Rowling said 2 main characters would die, I think Snape and Voldemort fill that position.

Well, as far as story lines go, she had to. The magical world was at war, and war doesn't spare victims... except for Harry surviving the Killing Curse yet again... Haha.
I'm not happy about it either though!! And I agree!! Fred and Dobby should have lived!!!!!!

Maybe she killed everyone off so that there would not be enough characters to write Harry Potter 8! Besides, wasn't this supposed to be the last one of that series and then she's supposed to start a new one? Not sure, think I heard this somewhere, though.

Gotta agree with you.. i was shocked when i read that fred, remus, mad-eye moody and dobby died... She should let them lived.. its bad enuf that george has lost a ear and losing a twin.. thats too much and the weasley twins are such great fun!!
Remus should live and try to be a god father to harry just like sirius..

hmm, well , probably she`s showing that, there aren`t any more books left, [what I meant by books , I mean by harry potter book 1, harry potter book 2] yeahh i agree, dobby and fred should`ve lived too.

I actually think she "copped out"
She has said several times before publishing the book that one of the 3 or 4 major characters was going to die and they did not. I thought it sucked

maybe cause that was the last book and she had to get rid of characters that don't have a happy ending in the book
