for me it was when I was about 18...I was crossing the street with my much younger cousin and we were stopped in the turn lane waiting for the cars to finish passing us and he thought it was clear and jumped out to finish cross well. there was this car extremely close and man, it almost hit him I like moved the quickest I ever have (i mean I didnt even think it was humanly possible to move that fast) and just reached out and grabbed his butt and pulled him to safety...it was so close that I believe it was like a miracle or something that we both lived...

The bravest thing suppose i have ever done was. A few years ago we had a bad storm and it flooded the streets here horribly. In this one area where a buddy of mine lives it floods really bad. He called and said they were being asked to evacuate their apartments. It had already flooded so much that he couldn't drive out and everyone was forced to walk out. Well when they got to a certain point there was nothing left to do but try to tread through a flooded street where the water was about 2 feet deep or so, which is plenty to sweep you off your feet and take you down. I managed to make it up to that street in attempts to help my friend evacuate. I took my mothers old jeep which was my only chance for having even made it that far. As I was waiting for him to get from his apartment to that point there were already people crossing the street so i started helping them cross this street. I had helped 5 or 6 groups cross when this group of people started getting ready to cross which was if I had to guess a woman in her 50's and 3 younger children a boy maybe 7 and two girls one maybe 5 and another maybe 9. The woman was holding the 5 year old and the other two were holding hands as well as holding on to the woman's shirt. I started back across the water to meet them half way and give them a hand when the two older kids slipped and became swept away in the current. I let my footing go and swam towards them as they were being swept down the flooded street. When i caught up to them i grabbed ahold of the youngest and long story short swam them to the side and grabbed a stop sign and people rushed over and helped us out of the water. end of story.

As for me, the bravest thing I've done was to tell off a trio of smokers when they were clearly in the no-smoking section of a restaurant. Ignorant bast*rds. At least they look scared. Lol xD

haha nice story. i know your serious. ive read that people have been known to summon super human strength from all the adrenaline when they are in peril like you were. isnt that kool?
anyways it was a long time ago and i was afraid of the dark, and i was all alone and the phone rang and the phone was all the way down the hall in the other room, and i was sooooooooooo scared, but i closed my eyes and ran even tho i was petrified.
lol i know its stupid, but its all i can think of. LOL

Yea! You risked you live for a family member. Anyone who really cares that much about relatives would do that. I think you are definantly brave. and people, she not asking what the bravest thing that you ever did was, she asking if the thing she did was brave!!!

bravest thing i've ever done was jumped in front of my older brother (who is visually impaired) as he was about to step in front of a car - i was about 5 at the time and i remember the skin on my arms brushing against the car door... the jerk didn't even slow down.

i saved a dog that was drowning and getting swept away by the current at the swimming hole we used to go to on the river in Lake Lure North Carolina

The bravest thing I ever did was answered the phone...(all by myself!!) I no I'm really risky but it was worth it. I no all of you people look up to me that's why I do these crazy things !!

ok well at cheer practice there was a girl in the air in a stunt a little bigger than me and she was falling so i run over and she landed on me but i sence i had did that i got tosit out the rest of the practice!
