I don't give thumbs down. I give all thumbs up so the people can get their points. Is getting a thumbs down that big of deal anyways. I get them all the time and could care less. I don't think they like my boat. lol.

Because they don't like a certain answer. Or, of course, there's those stalkers who thumbs down every answer a certain someone gives. It's amazing the number of uses people find for this website when it was meant to do ... two things.

Try to leave a comment in your "source(s) box". Something like 'thumbs down my way lol' or 'thumbs down? Haha! I couldn't care less' or 'thumbs down? Awww... you have no sense of humor' or 'greetings to my stalker!' - They'll be mad, people will give you thumbs up so you'll feel better and sometimes the asker will give you Best Answer to show that it's not He/She who thumbed you down.
I'm telling you this 'cause you seem to take thumbs down too seriously. Lighten up LOL=)

I never do this but the ones that thumb everyone down do it out of jealousy or because they actually think it hides everyone else's answers on everyone else's screen thinking that'll increase their chances of being picked as best answer. Just don't let it get to you. Fortunately Yahoo doesn't take away points when people do that.

I don't know, but i always look at ppl level 2 & above. They're the suspects. I rarely thumb-down anybody, but they thumb-down me.
