Definitely. Not only the Madden curse, but teams are aware of what he likes to do now, and are going to be ready for it.
The history of ALL running QB's is, injury. Look for him to be injured this year. Over 16 games, if he continues to run like a mad man, he will get crushed 1-4 times a game. Times that by 16 games. That's anywhere from 16 - 64 crushing hits. That's not including sacks and other hits. Odds in the NFL are 1 out of every 4 crushing hits, injure you. You do the math.
It's a whole different story when teams have seen how you play and are ready for it over 16 games, then when you come in late in the season, FRESH! Then play 8 ONLY games, with teams not sure of what you're going to do.

I'm going to remind you, right here, right now, Vince Young is a rookie (first full season) QB, it's a big difference between 8 and 16 games in the NFL. And everybody has had a look at him and are ready for his crap. He's going to take a lot of lumps this year, so watch out:) I predict INJURY! By game 6.

You all forget, the first half of the season, EVERYBODY'S fresh. And a hell of a lot faster. This time Vince won't have an advantage of being fresher. He will be smashed!

Two things to start with wick he isn't at Texas anymore he is in the NFL, second did Big Ben have a sophomore slump no he won the Super Bowl. The Madden Jinx is a joke and sophomore slumps are for people who got lucky in their rookie year where no one knew how to defend them; example look at the Falcons Micheal Vick was a nightmare for defenses until they figured out how to stop him and now when was the last time the Falcons did anything in the playoffs. Vince Young will have a better season than he did last year; he won't have as many rushing yards but he will have more passing yards. Titans 9-7 miss the playoffs.

Well, as of right now I think he will prove everyone wrong about the Jinx or Curse for being on the Madden cover, he may have a sophomore slump, but he will still put up decent numbers.

That i consider is a trick question. The so called curse has been mysterious the past few years. Donnovan mcnabb was on the cover in 2006 and he got injured and shaun alexander was on the cover in 2007 and he got injured. I think vince young is going to break the curse. He has alot of talent and a lot of perserverence.

His passing game couldn't slump much more. The team improved it just happened that he starting playing about the same time. The QB gets all the credit when things are good and all the blame when things are bad.
