Just kidding. I wouldn't call him a role model nessecarily or the bread winner, but more of you and him as a team, raising a good citizen for the future, putting food on the table (in whatever way he can help, which doesn't have to be just bringing in the money, but actually putting the food on the table) and just being a good citizen himself.

I hear they are suppose to be a role model if

A husband is someone that takes care of you & your kids.Loves you no matter what & rubs your back after a long day of work.....just like you would do for him without him even asking.Me & my husband do that for each other & we have been married for 15 yrs & have 3 children.The little things make a marriage work.Don't get me wrong we still have our occassional arguments but if you love each other,something as small as bringing them other ice water when their out mowing the grass will let them know you love them!
