The only possible good thing about them is a short energy boost and it makes you happy for a while. other than that they are just bad and damage your health.

Good luck with that one. Fast food typically has over twice as many calories as food needs to be prepared and you would be a lot healthier preparing those foods at home. You may want to use the argument as to how many of these foods can be prepared at home with different methods and still provide nutritional value and accomplish the same that you are trying to get the quick fix for in the restaurants.
Using stuff like electric grills or cooking outdoors can remove a lot of the fat from hamburger, particularly if you use 100% beef instead of the 73/27 mix found in the basements of most grocery stores. Instead of frying french fries from the bag, cut the potatoes yourself and use peanut oil or something other than Crisco. Tacos can be made at home as well far better. Fast food tends to be a bit better and not as heavy when it is actually paid for; Baha Fresh for example, could be construed as healthier if it is consumed in reasonable amounts; leave the 3 pound burritos alone. Wendy's and Arby's were always a healthier alternative to fast food, and worth it not to deal with the side effects of typical fast food; going asleep, feeling lousy, the narcotic dependency one has with the food.
Pizza is a somewhat worthy fast food alternative; Pizza Hut has a buffet between 2 and 5 in the afternoon I think. Papa Johns used to be good back in the day. There are also foods that simply do not take a long term to prepare to begin with, and are far healthier than fast food. A regular BLT sandwich, for example.

If your question is to the effect only, then except for the reason that the food fills in your stomach and temporarily relieves you of the appetite, it has no other good features. They are not "healthy" too, if you observe the surroundings, people who prepare, people who serve. Most of the fast food stalls are using oils of low cost varieties and they use the same oil once and again for different kind of preparations. This is very dangerous to your digesting capacity and and digestive systyems. You can not always take chart and draw how much fat, calorie, vitamins, salts are there in the preparations of fast food stalls. Of course this is not strictly observed in our homes also. But, in homes, we keep the surroundings clean, take interest to present ourselves clean while prepare and adopt clean habits whilst serve. This is absent in the fast food areas, most times. Latest observation from the medical circles is that the gastro-intestinal disorders and the related diseases are on the increase in alarming proportions in India and this is attributable to the fast food culture. Oily, Fatty, juicy and junk items under hot conditions may be free from germs, but still are not good. The fast food is FAST in only bringing about the damages to our state of health.

they have a little nutrients which are good for the body, but im afraid the bad over powers the good. For starters, theres fat from the fries and the fried stuff, fat is good when not in excess. There the protien from the meat, roughage and vitamins from the vegetables..... so yeah there are a few thing that are useful to the body in fast food

It depends on where you go and what you order. McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's and so on have salads to choose from instead of burgers and fries, but you have to be careful with salads also. Subway has subs that are more healthy or less fattening. Most of these places have websites which offer nutrition info. Take a look and compare what you read. I'm sure it'll help.

Quick energy, they are fast, that in itself is good. Speed is good. Although they can't be said as being good in any way I think they can give people more time to do other things, like exercise. This time gained can be put to good use

The only good thing about them is that when someone is short on time that may be the only way they get to eat lunch that particular day.
