Anderson was, at worst, bisexual. (I knew a girl who hooked up with him while he was still with the O's.)
As for others - look for guys who remain single and never talk about having girlfriends. Look also for guys who spend a lot of time socializing with well-known beautiful women. Derek Jeter would fit that - while he might just be a guy who likes semi-famous hotties, those are who you get set up with if you or your employer is trying to hide your homosexuality.

The only two baseball players I know of are both open and retired, and one is deceased. Bill Bean (NOT the Oakland GM) and the late Glenn Burke.
More than that would be speculation, which isn't fair to anyone. Besides, who cares? Calendar reads 2007, not 1790. Mere probability tells us that there's got to be some gay players, an aspect of their lives that has nothing to do with their ballplaying skills or performances.

Brady Anderson is raising his daughter Brianna, for whatever that's worth. Unless you are using gay as a euphemism for steroid freak...in which case those 50 homers make me think yes.

a lot of athletes don't come "out of the closet" until later in their lives... and this list is not up to date... not sure how credible it is being from wikipedia.

What does it matter? They're paid to play the game, who cares whether they are gay or not, it's not our place to judge how a person should live their life. It amazes me how some people will love a player, but the minute they find he may be gay, they hate him...
