Since all of Bonds' critics are pulling up stats from his career to cast doubt on his accomplishments, I would like to add this info about AROD:

These are his homerun totals from 1996-2000 with the Seattle Mariners: 36, 23, 42, 42, 41.
These are his homerun totals from 2001-2003 with the Rangers: 52, 57, 47.
These are hit totals the last four years with the Yankees: 36, 48, 35, 36.

Something appears really jacked up with the stats during those three years in Texas (almost three 50 homer seasons in a row). Let's remember who his teammates were in Texas: Juan Gonzales (a guy who appeared to be on the juice), Caminiti (a guy admittedly on the juice), Rafael Palmeiro (a guy found guilty of juicing), Ivan Rodriguez (a guy implicated as being on steroids, and whose body has drastically changed the last few years), and even Andres Galaragga (a guy whose body looked nothing likeit did at thebeginning of his career). Now if AROD was around these guys and saw them getting bigger and better, who can not believe that he wouldn't take the steroids as well, believing in his mind that he was truly the best player in the game. Plus, look how his homerun power surged in comparison to his years in Seatlle. The numbers in NY are evidence to me that like many players he has sinced stopped taking the juice as scrutinity has gone up.

Can anyone refute this proof?

A-Rod is likely to hit over 50 homers this year. Based on your "proof," he is using steroids again and should be suspended right now. Every player in the league has good and bad years, there is no way to tell when a guy will have an off year or a career year. As for his Rangers years, the stadium in Arlington isn't known as a hitter's ballpark for nothing. A guy playing there is likely to see his stats increase almost the same as a guy that moves to Colorado. The Rangers aren't among the league leaders in HRs every year for nothing. Except for 2000 and 2006, they've hit nearly 200 homeruns or more as a team every year since 1996, including 2005 when they hit 260 after ARod left.

That isn't "proof." Proof is hard and direct evidence, such as a video showing A-Rod shooting up.

What you presented is called "circumstantial evidence" and it is weak even by those standards.

Of the players you mentioned, only Palmeiro and Caminiti are PROVEN users. The rest are just allegations by those in the know or your own speculation on body size.

What you also failed to mention is that it is easier to hit homers in the Ballpark at Arlington Many players have their home run numbers increase playing in Texas.

While it may be the case that A-Rod was and still is using roids, the best argument probably is Canseco's recent allegation. So far his accusations have all been true. Even so, that still isn't proof.

First of all, Alex Rodrigeuz is totally clean. He simply his a strong hitter and has a great eye. If you look at he over the years, his body has pretty much stayed the same. Last winter, he actually lost 15lbs. and changed his stance. Besides, if Jose " I'm so jealous I could write a book and claim anything" Canseco hadn't peeked curiosity, this would never have come up.

That isnt proof, as the guy before me said, it is speculation. You cant say that he is guilty of taking steroids just because a couple of his team mates were found guilty/admited to taking them. You cant say that his stats prove anything except that he had some good HR years. I mean don't get me wrong, in all likely hood A-rod along with countless other professional athletes took/ are taking performance enhancing drugs. Still, that is hardly proof that he took roids.

For those who say this is not proof, I have to ask, wheres the proof with Bonds? Speculations just like this are what crucified Bonds, but as soon as Arod is mentioned, everyone gets offended. I totally agree with you on what you say. I believe that ANY power hitters that had inflated numbers around 2001 were on the juice INCLUDING AROD. Unfortunately, he won't get caught though.

Yeah i would be at paintings, I frequently have ESPN Radio on with the aid of that ingredient so i will actual hear to it. EQ: problematical to assert i'm not possibly specific who Arod gets alongside with on the team.

You idiot, the ball flys out of the park in Arlington! Its a hitter friendly park...and left center at yankee stadium is a hell of a shot, so its harder for a righty to hit bombs in the bronx.

You are obviously not a baseball fan, or you would know what parks are hitters parks.

You can take any right handed hitter and put him in Texas, then put him in the bronx, and the power numbers would go down.

What do you think would happen to Todd Heltons HR numbers if you took him out of colorado...maybe they would decline??? DUH!!

Who can't hit in Texas? It is a hitters park. His so called "spike" like you say isn't that great. Many players over the years have spiked up and down. He is pretty much consistant with hr totals in the 40s over the last 10 years. To have a slight jog up or down doesn't mean much. Mantle went up and down, Ruth went up and down, Mays went up and down.....it happens with all great HR hitters. You have no proof at all.

He has been under so much pressure and scrutiny in NYC, its incredible he is still here.....

This city is a make em or break em type town.....Yankee fans are very critical and expectations are extremely high.

You look at all of A-ROD's numbers ...those are not horrible numbers, decent but not horrible...
Regardless, he is scrutinized even more in post season.

He his having a great season this year....I could care less if they make the playoffs or not....I'm a fan of their crosstown rivals.
