I was told today that our boss went into one of the computers that was part of our network and was able to retrieve the deleted history from all the computers.. Is this possible??

Yes..

The history is stored in files on most windows computers. One of the biggest files to search through is the pagefile.sys file. It contains almost all the the information that has been used within the last few minutes. Also, there is an index file in the cache folder that contains this information also, even though it is encrypted with the right tools it can be read.

Well i know its possible to retrieve deleted files , i've used several programs doing that , but retrieving history .... well accepting anything is possible i think this is too , after all its all data on the computer , but i don't think its probable .

There's a couple of different ways of doing it, but the easiest would be to check the logs on the routers - everything passes through them, and their logs are independant of your computer's History.

With software the administrator to the network can re trace every move you make. Date, time and for how long you were there and what you did while you were there.
