It seems as though you know when he's lying, call him on it constantly and let him know you know, tell him you won't talk to him until you feel like he's telling the truth and explain to hi that it's going to take a long time to trust anything he says because he has lied so much, let him know you don't trust him it will be a battle but he won't lie to you in the end embarrass him a little he will learn

U can't break a adult from lying, u should of broke him of this years ago. Now he is a habitual liar. Your best bet is too ignore him when he lies and dont defend him to no one. hopefully he will get into a little trouble with the law and when he sees u dont believe him then maybe he will learn from his lying and quit it. but there really isnt much u can do at this stage of his life.

just keep questioning them each time and catching them out lying and make them feel foolish being caught out
