I think you should get a second opinion...as far as I know frequency of urination usually means an infection of some kind, it actually sounds a bit like Cystitis....Why do you go to a GUM Clinic I'm sure they can help you more than your GP....

If you wee often, feel tired and lack energy you should have an urine test.....it might be pre-diabetes.
My mother in law and 2 friends of mine have it so is better to check now...before you need the insulin injections.

if it's before your period it's probably just water retention and nothing to worry about. try to drink more fluids because everytime iv had this it seems to work, i know it sounds strange to want to drink more but even if it doesnt help with you going to the toilet all the time it will keep you hydrated and not feeling dso bloated on your period.

u got tested for UTI & it was -ve.
I get same problem if i enjoy sex twice or more in a row, so check if that is the reason.
sometimes any local application or new pads also cause irritation.
if no other cause is found, try cranberry juice.
bestta luck!

Certain liquids (coffee, tea, colas) are diuretic in nature and increase urination. However, this is also a symptom of diabetes. Perhaps you are having bladder spasms.

you may just have a water infection, drink plenty of water to flush out your system and it should be over in a few days. also, drink a glass of cranberry juice every day as it cleanses the urinary tract and is very healthy for that sorta thing
