I read Kite Runner, and absolutely thought it was one of the greatest books ever written.
Does his new book even compare?

Better than Kite Runner....Start now......I didn't think he could do better, but it is much less predictable.

I've purchased it, but it's No. 4 on my current reading list. At the urging of someone on Yahoo, I read Kite Runner which I, too, found well written. The subject also inspired me to read more books about this part of the world. If you haven't read, "Three Cups of Tea," I urge you to place that on your summer reading list.

the book is absolutely amazing!
the kite runner was awesome! but a thousand splendid suns is way better!!
you should start right away. =))
