No you only need to put convictions on job applications, not cautions.

I also got a caution for theft when I was younger (14). It got wiped when I was 18 so now I have no record at all.

If she is an adult it may still be on record but if she is under 18 it will be wiped when she turns 18.

It depends on the job. A caution remains on your criminal record for life, by which I mean if your friend ends up in Court again, and the Court sees the print out, the caution will be there. Under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, some convicitions are considered "spent", which means that you don't have to mention them for most job applications. There are some jobs where you still have to disclose, such as Police, childcare and so on. A caution is not a conviction so any question asking about "convictions", your friend can say "none" with a clear conscience!

You do not have to disclose a caution to an employer. However, if she is going for a job that requires a criminal records check, it will show up

Indicate all criminals so that there will be honesty on the part of your friend. However, it is best that your friend request for an expungement of the case so that the records will be clean.

Depends on the job. If she's joining the police, then probably yes.
