The metaphor of life
As I wonder through life
Dreaming of perfection
What can I do and where can go
How can I ponder this reflection?
The answer is clear to all that can see
Money is not the ends to my means
Woe is me not to know my needs
I think I will get some really cool jeans
Out into the world I go
Flitting around just like a wren
Hoping to find what I am looking for
But instead I am just Lost Again!!:):)

The grass is always greener on the other side. It is unlikely that you can ever round off your life. I just hope that someday I can reach a comfortable compromise.
The problem is simply that each time you fill a hole in your life, another one is noticed. It might not be as deep and demanding as the holes before it, and so it may give you the illusion that eventually as they get smaller you will reach the point where there is nothing left to fill. That just never happens. The closest I hope to get is where I can just live with the holes in my life and accept them for what they are. I think that is what most really old people do. Then they die.
