I have had period since tuesday.dont want it for weekend and have one more white sugar tablet left. can i skip this so it stops sooner and start new packof active for friday

fo rlast 2 months i skipped totally but i thought i better have my period this month. now i have to go away this wkend and its going to be very annoyin!
i only have one sugar day left..wud it matter that much?

You should just finish out your placebos as they're scheduled to be. If you start your active pills earlier then this will mess up your cycle with regard to each following month.

Chances are that once you start your active pills, your period will stop within 24-48 hours anyway.

actually you can skip the sugar pills altogether if you don't want a period at all. it's safe, but i find its a good idea to have the flow. just to be sure. in short, yes that's safe, but as always when you just start a new pill pack you may want to use a condom or other protection for the first couple of days until the hormones build up again.

Don't do it, there is a reason for the number of pills you receive and skipping one or more and then starting a new pack can mess up your cycles, and possibly leave you "unprotected".

I would recommend talking to your doctor first before you do it to see what they say.
