Oh,yes! Johnny was my favorite Tarzan. But I watched all the others, too, in their older movies.

I dont think he played Tarzan on TV, only on movies which have been seen on TV.
The TV series he was in was Jungle Jim, where he wore a safari suit instead of a loincloth. This would have been in the 1950s. I really enjoyed it as a kid.

I actually did - in fact, we used to have "Tarzan" parties at a friend's house on Saturday afternoons - we'd bring snacks, wine and just watch Tarzan kick a$$. I just loved it when he would get mad and say "White People!!", like he didn't really know he was white. But who cared. It was all good fun.
