Sweetie you NEED to speak with your mom, and ask her to see a doctor preferably an OBGYN. They will have you take a mammogram to see what is actually there. (It's not painful or anything)
No one here knows for "sure" that it is cancer, it could just be a tumor that is binine meaning its non cancerous.
You cannot avoid not going to the doctor because if it is serious... and you do not treat it early your chances of surviving if you do have cancer is very very very slim. I know its very scary sweetie, but catching it early is almost a 100% cure now days.
Think about this... Would you rather go to the doctor and find out whats wrong and live your life for the next 80 years, or do you want to hide this from your mom until the lump gets larger and is too late to treat (if it is cancer).
I also had a lump below my belly button when i was 12, and i delayed telling my mom for 3 years that i known that i had it. I waited so long that i ended up going to the emergency operation room because the lump was actually my intestines popping out of my stomach lining. It is scary, but find the courage to talk to your mom.

First of sweetheart you must tell your mom, if not your mom a school nurse or someone els eyou really trust thats an adult. This is VERY important as early detection is often the key to solving some problems. ALthough this is very scary, alot of times changes in your breast ARE NOT cancer related even so its important to talk to a doctor. I know you don't want to go ( don't blame you I freak out every time I have to go and I'm 20). Seriously though, talk to an adult you trust because when it comes down to either upsetting a parent, or going to the doctor ANYTHING is better than standing back and saying that it's okay to put your life in a situation where your health is in danger.

It is very scary to have a lump and think you may have cancer. Worrying and worrying is not going to make you feel better. A doctor can reassure you. There is no need to suffer by yourself. Part of growing up is to face your fears and take the appropriate steps that are in your best interest. This means going to the doctor and telling your mother. This is only the beginning of situations that will arise in your life that you will need to take action that you do not want to take. In the long run taking the appropriate action will make you feel more in control of the situation. Please Tell Your Mom and Maybe Doctor

I know you asked us not to tell you to tell your mom or the doctor but you really need to tell both of them about this. Having a lump can mean something serious. This definitely needs to be evaluated by a doctor to make sure it's not something serious like cancer. I mention this because one of my family members was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

you really must tell ur mum or the doc because having a lump is nothing to be ashamed of it comes on its own nit caused by any particular activity so dont know why youre so scared i dont think its anything serious theres what we call a fibroadenoma which is a benign lump thats harmless but however needs to be removed and must be checked bya doc so see a doc

You need not panic. Cancer breast is very very rare in your age group. Infact Iam yet to see one patient of yr age with cancer breast. It could just be a fibroadenoma. Right now I would advice you to take it easy. Examine for any increase in size. If you feel it is increasing in size, then you can seek attention.

call the doctor and have a mammogram, usually if it's rounded, not oddly shaped, and seems to move freely and not seem attached, it's harmless. GO TO A DOCTOR ASAP!
