Yes, you will be fine. It just depends where you are going to go. Bring a little French phrase book and a little Moroccan phrase book (you can find them on amazon) and stick to the larger areas. English is a requirement in schools now. It doesn't mean ppl come out fluent but if you are in a toursity area you should be fine.

Yes of course!!!!!
I have just been to Morocco, traveling by myself, and I don't speak a word of Arabic and only very basic French, and I never had a problem.
It is really easy to communicate basic needs, buying stuff, booking a hotel room etc, without knowing a common language. As a tourist people can always understand what you need LOL.. And you can always use sign language. Moroccan people are friendly and will try to help, even if it is hard to understand you.
And for more complicated things and for a natter, you will always find an English speaker, wanting to practice on you, however remote you are, believe me!!!!
In tourist areas a lot of people speak English. Though alot of those are wanting to sell things to you LOL.
But a lot of young people speak English too, and in all big hotels. I don't think not knowing French is a problem.
It is a good idea to bring a phrase book as a safety net, though personally I think they are overrated, and I never used mine.
You can ask the hotel receptionist for some basic phrases when you get there.
If you are don't know French, it is better to say Hello, Thanks etc in Arabic. People warm to you more, as it looks like you are trying to learn their native language rather than what was once a colonial language.

I don't think you will a have a easy time communicating without Arabic or French, but I do think that should not stop you from traveling to Morocco. People are very friendly and will do their best to understand and help you. Also in the north you might be able to get by with Spanish.

You'll get along just fine. Moroccans in general are friendly people and will do their best to try to communicate with you.
Most Moroccans know a few bits of English and in tourist communities even more.
I live here as a native English speaker with only poor derija and I go out and about on my own and rarely have a problem.

Many people speak a little English and the younger generation is learning it in school. You will be ok in the larges areas but smaller villages will be a challenge.

I enjoyed Morocco. that is not as risky as maximum folk could believe. the government is familiar with the fee of tourism as does its' ultimate to make all and sundry sense risk-free. in case you're a girl traveling on my own, it somewhat is advisable to locate human beings in hostels and inns to holiday with. it somewhat is a custom ask your self, yet a very superb one. You definately pay on your protection and comforts. to illustrate, to holiday to the Sahara fee us $3 hundred from Marrekech with the aid of renting a automobile and looking out campsites alongside the way. To e book each thing in strengthen and characteristic a instruction manual take you in a 4X4 is a minimum of $500 each. however the country is appealing and risk-free, purely use your straight forward sense. My chum went to Tunisia and raved approximately it. He stayed in a motel that grew to become into milked you on your money yet as quickly as he visited the country, he grew to become into surprised with the aid of how appealing it grew to become into. Morocco is somewhat extra traveled than Tunisia, yet they the two will replace into lots extra heavily visited in the subsequent decade. it is the time to holiday.
