if i uninstall zone alarm my computer shuts down normally. i want to keep zone alarm. plz help.

I just make sure everything is closed
before I shut down.

It's highly unlikely that ZA is the culprit. Download CCleaner from the link below and give your PC a cleanup. I would be very surprised if your problem isn't fixed.
For good measure, do a defrag after your run CCleaner.
