So, all my friends have started doing drugs. Almost everday now. It's starting to get actually ridiculous. I am what you say "above the influence" I will never touch or go near drugs. But it seems like im losing all my friends.
I have a boyfriend of 3 years, and he's amazing, but sometimes i just need to hang with the girls. Do you have any idea of what to say or tell them that will make them understand me? Every time i try to mention it, they just block me out or get pissed off.

Just say your straight edge and drugs really aren't for you and. Real friends not pressure you to do anything you don't wanna do. They should accept you no matter what your decisions are.

Congratulations!! You are a leader and not a follower. You do, however need to find friends that do not do drugs if you want to hang with them. People that do drugs are very defensive sometimes, because they know that what they are doing is wrong. Just tell them, in the meantime, that you have made yourself a promise not to do drugs, and that you feel tht you need to keep it. Don't try to change them, unless they ask your opinion or get very ill. They are looking something that you naturally have---the ability to deal with life. It will not work, because when they get straight, they will have the same problems or more.

find friends that deserve you better and don't get into the bad influenced way.
i've tons in my schools and outside schools.
its just we have to see who we're friending with :]
