Cramps that are so bad that someone can't function during their period are an indicator of something wrong and needs to be evaluated by a doctor to see what they think is going on.

But the reason some women cramp is because of the uterus trying to get rid of the lining that built during that month and was not needed.

well you do get pain because the lining of the whom is breaking down but servere pain can be given med from the doctor..

because your egg is coming out of you. That means tissue coming out of your usterus. I guess it is supposed to get you ready for having babies....but i dont think it does...nothing could ever come close to that.
