Very controlling. I married a woman that takes my nature
in stride as it's part of her culture. But even then she
sometimes explodes and throws things at me in her
frustration. I've got my kids in control. But that's pretty easy
since they're 8 and just over a year.
On the other hand I just sent my wife and kids on a
vacation back to her home land using almost all of our income
tax return. We bought her family gifts, like her mom a gold
necklace, on credit. And she had 1,800 bucks spending
money. She wiped out half her money in the first two weeks.
So much of our well established plans of me paying off bills
and buying tools for work while she's gone. Now I'm working
seven days a week just so I can pay the bills and have money
for myself after I send them the money they need. $600 out
of this payday alone.
But ya know what, as selfish as I usually am, I'm glad that
I've been able to provide my wife and kids with a vacation
that to this point they've said is wonderful. I'll continue to work
seven days a week so I can send them enough money.
When they get back, I'll still expect my daughter to be in
the top groups in her class. To exercise well. To help care
for her baby brother. Not to mention what I expect of my wife
and youngest as he grows older. Maybe people would think
this is cruel. I don't think so.
I think it's cruel to watch kids sitting on a couch playing
video games and drinking soda pop and eating potato chips
and sweets. Day after day. week after week. and so on.
I'm a control freak

Tone of voice is important, along with facial expression and body language. If you look intimidated when someone talks, then you are, and they know you are. If you're stutter, you will appear to have no confidence. Also, people that talk a lot are easy to push over, quiet people are the ones to watch out for.
