i just had a bad cramp like at 8 or 9 ish pm. it was hurting to like where if i walked around it would hurt but then if i layed down it wouldn't hurt, it wasn't one of those cramps you get when you drink a lot of water and then start running right away.. then today I've been having a lot of discharge. i almost had to change my under wear 3 times. i haven't had my period yet. is it going to come soon. cause today was my orientation for 6th grade. why did i get this. is my period coming really soon. like in 3 days or like in a week?

Sweetie, I answered your first question about this, you need to calm down a little bit. The first thing to do, IGNORE THE ANSWERS FROM MEN. They would most likely die if they had a period, we're meant to have them!
Secondly, please talk to your mother. She will be able to help you, and it's really nothing to be scared about. It's natural to be worried of course, but believe me, women go through this everyday, all over the world, and it's perfectly normal and healthy.
Try and calm down a little bit, nobody can really tell you for sure if you are going to get it, or when, but try to be prepared for it. Make sure that whenever you go out now you have a little stash of pads and some baby wipes (in case you get it unexpectedly) with you, and you will be absolutely fine!

Could be that you're premenstural. Then again, could be normal growing pains. Discharge will change a lot for the next few years. The lots and lots doesn't have much effect... but you need to look at the consistency. Most gals get ovulation discharge about two weeks before their period (that's when you ovulate, obviously). Things to watch for: slipperiness... think thin phlegm (sorry, gross). I also usually get really thick, stretchy white stuff (kind of like gum) a week or so before my period, depending on birth control.

Don't worry about it too much. Grab an extra pair of underwear and some pads and put them in a cute little bag to shove in the back of your locker.

If you keep having bad pain, talk to your mom and maybe see a doctor. Ah, the joys of puberty. The good news is that we do live through it. Good luck with 6th grade!

you need to calm down honey.

you are getting ready to start your period, which is very normal for 6th graders. since you have a lot of discharge and it is messing up your underwear wear a pantyliner or if its really heavy, a pad. this way it won't stain your panties and make them uncomfortable to wear.

you won't know when your period is coming, it just pops out of no where.
STINKS, HUH?
but if you are worried about leaking and not being prepared, just wear a pad for the next week or so. if you still have discharge you probably will be wearing one for that anyways.

i hope this helps...any other questions?
