For me, i used to find it hard to swallow and at times I would hit back hard on them but these days I seems to mellow a lot.
I guess the bottle line is that I came here to make friends and not enemies :)

I was the same. At first I would send e-mails or give bad answers to their questions but now I just ignore them for the most part.

i think they are here for the wrong reason. for me YA is for making friends and having fun through communication, so mean remarks have no place here. anyway you might not like how someone answers but tolerance is everything and if that person goes way out of line than indifference is the best response. :)

Depends: Sometimes jump right back in their face other times say to heck with it not worth the trouble. 1st thought use their face for a speed bag and their body for a punching bag. Was raised in oil field then Marine Corps.

depends what they say, if it's true i sit back and wallow in an i suck and you know i've just now matured enough to realize that when i have one of those I suck moments, DON'T DO THAT AGAIN. for cryin out loud learn from your mistakes;^)
But, when it's not true or silly internet quarrel, i find some amount of humour in it or don't care. Although sometimes it's hard to tell what's wrong and what's right, true or not true, the grand illusion of the soft parade.

well, i'm thankful i haven't encountered mean remarks at me. i usually ignore if there are. i just have some answers that are indecent and quite provocative, but no big deal. all i want is to learn things thru here and have friends and find intelligent queries that i haven't encountered before. =) don't worry, they don't have a worth of your thought. =)

yeh i got this women stalking me once that was about 6 months but later fount out it wasnt just me she was attacking. ive had a few remarks but you just have to forget about it. i posted a question once but at to do it quick because my toddler was running wild lol and they all said learn how to use grammar better lol.but some yahoo users on here have learning disabilities and you just have to respect that not pick on them well have a nice day

My first though is, that this person must be angry or upset about something and needs someone to take it out on, so i just let them vent and try to tell myself i actually helped them...lol...ya know?

my first thought when someone passes a mean remark is this..I think they are an a$$ and are just mean spirited.

never had that problem, but Skinhead Charlie gets bad remarx all the time. he deserves it.
