I am the worst movie snacker alive. I sneak chinese food in my large purse....I sit there and eat as if i were home & everyone stares. Their food is way too expensive.

I'll buy some there....but there are two things I need to really enjoy a movie that theaters don't have (three, if you count having Meg Ryan to snuggle with while I watch...what....I'm a little older than you guys....I LIKE Meg Ryan), and that's those honey wheat braided pretzels, and Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. So, I will take a little baggie of each in with me (OK, sneak them in). But anything else like popcorn, drinks or Sno-Caps (is there anything better at the theater than nice greasy popcorn and Sno-Caps? Snackwise, I mean, wise guy) I will buy there.

i was actually kicked out of a theater when i was 12 for bringing my own snacks so since then i just buy them there :)

I do both. I bring healthy snacks, but I buy the drink

Bring soda and candy if we think we'll want those - recloseable bottles & candy bought at Target or something - because the prices theatres charge ($3.50 for a $1.00 box of Milk Duds? $4 for a $1.00 soda?) are just outrageous, and as long as people keep paying those prices the theatres will keep charging them... just say no!
However - popcorn, yes, sometimes the smell sucks us in and we pay through the nose for the fresh popcorn... sigh...

I usually bring in my own food. It's cheaper and way better than the options when you get there. You just need a big purse!

Both. Our theater allows us to bring in food and beverages, but sometimes you just have to have their buttered popcorn!

when i was in college, we used 2 bring our own snacks but now, we get it there

are you kidding me, i am not gonna spend 8bucks on a movie ticket then 10 more for snacks!
in other words, i bring my own, one time a whole bag of doritios! :)
