Ok I just started a new job and i am making a tad bit more money than my bf... He started telling me he needs to find a new job... Do you think i made him feel bad?? Have any of you guys ever dealt with this before?? How would you feel??

The male ego is a powerful and confusing thing. Many men will feel uncomfortable if they know that the girl in the relationship is the primary bread winner. What this means is that your boyfriend wants you to feel as if you need him. He wants to feel needed and that he can take care of you. If he sees any aspect that may reverse that role, he may get defensive.
If you think it's bothering him, confront him and discuss it. Communication never ended a relationship. Lack thereof is the main cause.

I just saw something on one morning show or the other how women are starting to earn more money in big cities than men. That has to do with the fact that more women are going to college. It's a man thing. I think he should be glad for you. Many men would be glad you can bring in a good income so that the two of you will have a better life. I wouldn't rub it in if it bothers him. Just play it down and hopefully he will get over it. If he doesn't, don't let him hold you back. Might be time to consider moving on. . .

Shouldn't matter as long as he likes to do the job he's doing. If he doesn't he should start looking at other careers anyway.

he might feel insecure in one way or another and perhaps u need to look into this and work out from there. meanwhile dont confront him.
