His character gives me the sh*ts anyway. He always has to have things his own way. And pretty much, chucks a tanty ( tantrum ) whenever he doesn't get it.

If T.R. Knight and other people have such thin skin then maybe they should stay in the closet.
I have friends that are gay and one I even call Tink
(tinkerbell) and he doesn't care.
Everyone says things every now and then that are not nice and that is a shame but it is also human. Get over it and move on. This junk has gone on long enough,
I do believe if someone else had said that then maybe they too would be looking or a job.But IW
is guesting on the Bionic Woman on NBC this fall so he does have a job.
Let's just move ahead people. I have never watched Grey's Anatomy and don't intend to start.

Before I say anything, I believe it was in poor taste that Washington would ever use that word. Obviously, it was hurtful, rude, and unnecessary. But that being said, alot of us use that word when we're mad. But I can certainly see why everyone was so upset. Washington then went to THERAPY sessions, made numerous public apologies, said that he knew he had to do some soul searching, etc. That seems like an awful lot and I do believe he was sorry for what he did. I think if it was Dempsy that said it, no freakin way would he be fired. The plot of the show would suffer without Derek (or Meredith for that matter).

l've read an article that he won't be in the show anymore. What he said offended a lot of people. ln all honesty, most people utter that word just like an ordinary expression.
Patrick Dempsey would suffer the same fate if it was him saying it. People are very sensitive these days.

i don't think so. he is too valuable to the storyline. they might as well have cancelled greys anatomy if they were going to fire him.
i dont think they should have fired isaiah washington. by the end of the season it had pretty much blown over and was out of the news.
I LOVE GREYS ANATOMY AND I AM GOING TO MISS DR.BURKE!!

I think that Patrick dempsy would have been fired also. we don't know the whole story. maybe TR did something to provote Isaiah. TR seems to be playing the victim...if the N word was uttered, heads would roll

Obviously the castmates were having issues prior because those two were fighting about something else when he said the f word. It also seems that the whole cast was pretty united in hating him, I have a feeling they know something we don't.

First off I don't care!
Secondly I still don't care!
More importantly I think it is in bad taste for a black man who has probably been called worse to call a gay guy that word. It sounds to me like he should think before engaging his brain!
