Which plasma?

Blood plasma can provide the ingredients to support life, but the contents are not enough to support life and they are not enough to create an energy source that we can use.

Plasma is the 4th state of matter, the hottest state. A fusion reactor uses hydrogen plasma to create fusion which makes a whole lot of energy; on the scale of a nuclear bomb. That kind of energy can be used to make a whole lot power.

Vampires are creates that live by drinking plasma. Vampire bats are real, they only live off of blood plasma. They are small and need a lot of plasma to survive, they have to go out every night and score. The smaller a creature is the less energy it needs to live. So vampire bats can create enough energy from plasma to power themselves.

Human Vampires are a myth and a legend. They are probably too big to be able to live off of human blood plasma. For a human vampire to be alive they would have to drain a person at least once a week, and I mean drain them dry. We don't see that happening and it has never happened. According to the legends and myths of vampires they only need a pint or so a week to survive. There is not enough energy in a pint of human plasma to support something the size and strength of a man.

Umn, plasma is a form of matter, similar to a gas, in which the atoms are all ionized and electrons float around freely. This is sort of like asking if scientists have tried harnessing solids to derive energy. It's very vague.

Of course fusion usually occurs within plasma, and since humans are attempting to create fusion generators, then this could be what you mean. If so, then yes.
