Then does that make us a complex germ?

The short answer is Yes. But the details are important. Consider a relay: it consists of copper wire, an iron frame, and contacts. Individually, these don't do much of anything; appropriately combined, they can control electrical machinery. Scale this idea up a trillionfold (more or less), and you have a human being. So how did this scaling arise? Evolution, which is now a proven fact. For details:

What is Man that Thou art mindful of him?

Up above someone said "The short answer is yes." Personally, I will agree with reservations if we mean the germ part, but when you say "If god is not real and evolution is real?" That's a false dichotomy. DON'T put God and evolution into that kind of relationship to each other. At this point they contribute to our understanding of different aspects of the world, and those who contemplate God have always had a tough time talking to each other, It is unfortunate that many have started comparing evolution to God, and that some few evolutionists have fallen into the same trap. A transcendent God is best approached by faith. Whether he is real begs the question: what is real? Don't beg the question. Just be mindful that others don't have the same answer. Evolution is understood as a theory in a technical sense which most Creationists refuse to understand. Some people may force courteous answers who've done nothing to deserve them.

Looking at the relationship between us and germs through biology and evolutionary theory you will find pathogens are bacteria, viruses, protozoa parasites or proteins. Bacteria are microorganisms. Fungi can be. Protozoa are also single-celled life forms. Parasites of course are small animals. Viruses are genetic material which aren't self-sufficient enough to be called alive while Proteins, such as prions, are organic compounds.

While we perceive ourselves as individuals, in purely scientific terms, evidence shows we function not just as collections of cells, but with the assistance of some bacteria and other organisms which provide functions those cells need. Of course, we had to start somewhere. Where we started was in small cells, like those we call germs. Whether they are our progenitors or not, they are our prototypes. If we perceive ourselves as individuals, then yes, this means we can be called complex germs. If we want to perceive ourselves as physical beings, though, it is perhaps equally or more valid to attempt to perceive ourselves of communities of simple beings, so we can better understand the roles symbionts play in our lives. In that case we can be called complex groups of germs.

Evolution is not real and it has never been proven... I Have written a thesis on how un-real the theory of evolution is..... And I received an A... And I was awarded my Masters Degree... And no matter what someone else may say My thesis was published and is now used at my former university........... And I have received many letters of congratulations from scientist that are located all over this world.... Also I know beyond all doubts that you are not God.....

If you want to put it that way, yes! You can begin anywhere. There is evidence of the evolution of very simple to quite complex life forms. The beginning ones were much simpler than germs. It is better to include us among primates, however. Monkeys, apes and other primates are our closest relatives.

Everything is real except germs, that is a lie by the doctors to make us think we're sick.
