His reasoning for not sending his boxers to Chicago for fear of defecting is pathetically laughable. What he surely knows, but doesn't have the balls to admit, is that when people are fed up and desperate, they ultimately vote with their feet, as multitudes of Cubans have done ever since inFidel took over. If the US was soooo screwed up as inFidel would try and lead people to believe, then why do not only his people, but people from Mexico and other Latin American countries flock to the US, illegally or otherwise? But, given inFidel's support of the likes of the murderous butcher Che Guevarra (with whom inFidel allegedly had a homosexual liaison), what do you expect? But of course, there will the usual bunch of droopy-eyed Far Left Hypocrites like Cindy SheeMan in the US who will still adore inFidel and his "people's utopia".

You, like so many Americans, have no idea what is really going on. This is because you believe what you are told on television, by a bunch of politicians who lie to you about everything else. You know that, so why believe them about Cuba?

No country is perfect: not Cuba, and not the USA either. One of our imperfections is that we allowed our corporations and organized crime to install a dictator in Cuba who repressed the legitimate rights of the Cubans so harshly that they revolted. Had another country tried that on us we would have rightly declared war.

Cuba responded by confiscating all the property owned by the American corporate and organized criminals, which was a just punishment for their unconsionable behavior. The USA, rather than tell our own business leaders they should keep better company and respect the public interest, enacted punitive legislation. I suppose when the criminals are major contributors things never change.

That Castro is a Communist is not important. Cuba is not a threat, and our embargo is bullying of the most unjustified kind. If we had acted wisely and been friendly with them the man would probably be the retired leader of the Revolution today, but because we continue to try to make Cuba our economic colony the people continue to support him.

Consider this, as well. Despite our best efforts to ruin the Cuban economy they still have a higher literacy rate and longer lifespan than we do. All we have accomplished with the endless embargo is to make them distrust us, and their distrust has spread to other Latin countries whose economies we have ruthlessly exploited. Venezuela pays attention to Castro, and elects Chavez because they see that they have to play hardball with the USA.

Your spurious claims that Castro and Gueverra were lovers is total crap that even a propaganda driven individual like yourself should recognize as such. Further, calling Gueverra a murderous butcher for acts committed during a violent revolution are unfair. Was George Washington a butcher? What about Ullyses Grant?

Your whining and howling is laughable, because you are so completely uninformed. Do some reading, and actually listen to what people are saying. Things are not perfect in Cuba, but they are way better than they would have been of Batista had remained in power.

Look at Haiti. That's what benevolent American corporations do when they are unopposed. That's what our business leaders leave behind. Cubans look at Haiti, and thank Fidel Castro. They realize things are worse than they need to be, but they blame us. They are not stupid. We are.

Personally. I disagree with the dry foot policy. I feel that if a Cuban can make it one inch off the island in a westerly direction they should be given political asylum. Castro and Hugo are great friends. Chavez has now given an edict that when a child in Venezuela reaches three years of age, they will be taken from the parents and sent to a special school. The parents may have contact with the child twice a month. Gee, I wonder where he got this idea.

I don't adore Castro and never have, but you need to remember we help put him in power. So you got what you asked for, just like with Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, the Shaw of Iran, and many more!

We have had our, or the CIA's, hand in Malaysia (Marcos), Nicaragua (Noriega), Panama, Cuba (Castro), Bosnia, Vietnam, etc.

Like, the U.S. C.I.A. brought about the de-stabilization of the Govt. of Chile ,because IT&T thought that the Chilean Govt was going to nationalize its assets there, and IT&T.put pressure on the U.S.Govt. through its connections and lobbying groups. The war that followed and the suffering of the people there was by the U.S. installing General Pinochet in power.

You can look at many brutal dictators and we had something to do with them being in power!

We are the ones who did it for profit, why don't you start with us?
