The radical left would be extreme Communists. I don't think there are many of them left in the world, and assuming you found one and had something to say about his beliefs, I don't think a big crate of logic dropped on his head would make him think any differently.

Try complete sentences, intelligent comments, good grammar, and some control over the radical right-wing rhetoric and have a civilized conversation. I know I don't hate Republicans...I am just not one of them.

Well, you could start with, "Hi, I'm _(your name here). How are you today?"
If you know their family, you could ask how Mom or Pop is doing.
You could make a comment on the weather, or the poor bus service, or how expensive gas is now.
You might want to say you saw them in church last Sunday.
Maybe you could comment on your boss or your neighbor's roses.
It's easy. Just don't talk about politics, unless you want to hear the truth.

The same way you talk to the radical right. You do not. There is nothing that will change their mind hence the word radical so it would be stupid to waste your time. Even politicians do not try to covert these people.

I find the best way to convert a liberal is to let them grow up get a job start paying taxes and deal with their own problems

Although I'm nice to them, unless they get mean, I never use logic. Liberals have a hard time with logic or reason. And as an ex-liberal I should know what I'm talking about. To quote Dr. Savage: "Liberalism is a mental disorder." I'm kind enough to allow some people to enjoy their sickness.
