My inspiring/uplifting/encouraging song would have to be Remember the Name by Fort Minor.. I don't know why, but it gets me super pumped up lol.. The saddest I can think of at the moment is probably Far Away by Nickelback.

Uplifting: "Rose Garden" by Lynn Anderson. People are always singing hymns to G-d, but even the best of them have seemed, to me, distanced from Him, like they're singing to Someone way "out there" somewhere.
The first time I heard this song, I felt it was what G-d would be ( is . . ?) singing directly to each of our hearts. This song has gotten me through some pretty rough patches in a long and very checkered life . . .
Saddest ( but truest . . . ): Just about any of Harry Chapin's songs.

i'm in simple terms checking in to offer an upward thumb to the 1st contributor. I observed those adult adult males whilst i replaced into 8 on the long sea coast, CA section: Simon and Garfunkle. They did a great song called "The Boxer," which describes the existence of a adverse guy develop into fighter. there's a line: "I squandered my resistence For a pocket crammed with mumbles Such are delivers" it incredibly is a huge line with the aid of fact the "pocket" and "mumbles" subtely refer concurrently to the money he's making besides with the aid of fact the techniques harm he has suffered from being pummeled for see you later.

I'm not exactly sure of the name, but there's a song by Mariah Carey & Boys II Men that says "I know you're shining down on me from heaven"...I think it's called "One Sweet Day"; it always makes me think of my mom (passed away going on 19 years ago).
