I downloaded some hair styles, lipsticks and other clothes for Sims 2 from a website. I extracted them to My Documents / EA Games / The Sims 2 and I can't find them in the game. In a '' Read me '' file says that I must extract them to My Documents / EA Games / The Sims 2 / Downloads . Well, I can't find the '' Downloads '' folder. What's the problem ? I really want that hair styles in my game! Heeeelp!

They go in Downloads. Often the game doesn't make a Downloads folder when you first install. There's nothing wrong.

You can make the folder yourself (make sure you give it a capital D) but if the game still doesn't recognise it, get it to create one itself. Delete the folder you made and run Bodyshop. This will force the game to make a Downloads folder. Put your stuff in there.

Make sure you enable custom content when you run the game - it's an option on the first screen that pops up. Exit and start the game again to make the setting take effect.

Usually if i download custom objects i open the folder and it asks me if i want to put it in the game. then in the beginning of the game you can enable or disable it.
