depends on the product too. There are certain exceptions to return policies. Food of course is included, as well as items that might pose a serious health risk if returned.

Seriously though, not all stores have the same return policy, and some even have a no return no exchange policy, while some say they have a 30 day guarantee but really, you won't catch any of their customer reps alive. I guess that's just the way it is - not all return policies are fair to customers, just as there are abusive customers in the market.

Accepting returned products is actually a customer service. Those stores that don't give good customer service, don't go back and bad mouth them to everyone.
