They called me at work today and I won a $100 gift cert. to any one place of my choice in my town (which includes restaurants, boutiques, galleries, jewelry stores, outdoors equipment stores, snack shops, etc.) It's the first time I ever won a raffle! So i decided to go with a boutique that sells clothes, jewelry, and shoes.

Yes it was just after my divorce. It was in July. I enrolled my 7 year old into a day camp. It was a very sad, and heartbreaking time for us. At the end of the summer in August they had a carnival, and sold a raffles for a bicycle. I prayed so hard that my son would win. I couldn't believe my ears when they picked our raffle as the winner. I was so excited for him, he need something special to happen for him in such a difficult time of his life. If I had won the lottery it could not have made me happier. A 7 year old going thru a divorce is very trumatic.
That was the first, and last time I ever won a raffle. But to me I am still happy just re-living that moment now. It was 35 years ago.

My husband and I once put our names in a raffle at the mall for a car, and of course, didn't win the car. This turned out to be a high pressures sales gimmick for time shares. Never again.

no, but I won $500 the other day with one of those scratch off lottery tickets. It lasted exactly 5 minutes lol.

Yes I won a Tag Heuer watch. So just by putting my name into a hat i won a watch that if i were to buy it would have cost me $1000.

Yes many times, nothing major, but I did win $1,500 in the Ill lottery, then of course I promptly spent the money on lottery tickets lol....
