It's never got hot enough for us here to need a/c but a fan comes in handy a couple days a year when it gets up in the high 60s. We are still waiting for that global warming big Al has been promising.

A/C with a fan. My car's A/C doesn't work and it's been over 100 degrees everyday for the last couple of weeks and I'm about to have an aneurysm.

A/C by far, fans only circulate the hot air in the room.

I prefer the A/C...especially in the day when it's really hot, but I also add a fan at night for when I sleep! =D

A/C - When the temp and the humidity is in the high 90's, a fan does not do any good.

hasn't really gotten hot here so I just use a fan .... it barely reached 80 today and that was over the hill --- it was sort of chilly down by the big lake(lake superior) -- it sort of acts like a giant air conditioner ...

I use a little bit of both. Fans can dry my eyes out.
