I didn't, but I only pushed a few times. I'm sure I would've if I had pushed for longer.
Dont worry, you wont care AT ALL if you do. You probably wont even know unless they tell you.
For the taping, have them only put the camera 'down there' when the baby is actually coming out. That way if you do poop at any time, it wont be seen.

If you want to you can ask for an enema. Honestly I'm also a shy person and dreaded pooing at the table. Don't worry too much because nature is so perfect, your body automatically adjusts for birth and many women have a little diarrhoea just before starting labour. I was sure I was going to poo but when time came, I did not even think about it, and as far as I know, nothing happened. My waters broke at the hospital and there was water at the bed, but the midwife helped and got out a clean one. There was a man student at the time, I had promised myself I did not want men around, but once again, I did not mind at all, I just wanted to have my precious baby on my arms. Be positive and enjoy your pregnancy while it lasts, before you know you will have your bundle of joy in your arms.

I was very concerned about this when I was pregnant with my son. In fact I made sure to give myself an enema (water based that I bought at a regular drug store) so that my body would be empty. I didn't poop, so I guess it worked. I am currently pregnant with my 2nd child and I will do the same this time around. (my first was schedulled to be induced so I knew ahead of time what day my son would be born) with this one I figure I'll just do one a week towards the end of my pregnancy and hope that works... good luck and I'm sure you'll be fine (even if you do)... it's very common and most people will act as though it didn't even happen.

i have had 3 and as far as i know...no poop!! anyway i always thought that would embarrass me too but when it comes down to it you dont even think about it...anyway if you still have the fear have him video tape from up by your side or from the side by your leg not head on and that way lets just say you do take a poopsy!!! no one will see...but besides all that you will have nurses all up in your area most of the time anyway so really dont worry too much

It is pretty common, I actually dont know if I did during my 1st two, they clean it up so quickly you dont even know and they dont say anything I was too embarrased to ask , I guess it would still be on a video however. My hospital doesnt allow video taping of the actual birth anymore so thats cool that you guys can !

Not all woman do it. I didn't, but What I have heard is that doctors and nurses have seen it pleanty of times and before it can even be recorded one of the nurses would have already wiped it clean.
My friend just finished her training and she saw it happen and she assured me that is the LEAST of anyones concern at that moment. TRUST me I was scared of that happening too in January.

NO! not all women poop while giving brith and just a couple things..... women who go through the pregnancy naturally are less likely to do this!!! Also you can ask for a laxitive when you first arrive at the hospital!!!! Good luck and ask your dr about the laxitive that what they did for me and there were no problems!!!

Not all women but most. Think about it you are pushing that hard you know something has to come out. I watched my goddaughter being born and never rember the poop. I only remeber her and I was the first person she saw when she popped her little head out.

There is a high chance, especially if you are induced and your bowels haven't emptied naturally. That is why I don't want anyone at my feet watching.. and I wouldn't want to tape my birth anyway (they don't even allow it at the hospital I will be giving birth at.. so make sure you check on that too).
