I have a tool shed and the roof is covered in moss - I looked closely and it seems that the roofing tiles are still intact, no rot - The moss seems to come off easily. Once I scrape it all off, I want to prevent more moss from growing. What is the best product for this?

There are moss killing spray on the market specifally designed for use on roofs. Someone told me once that a solution with bleach in it would kill moss. Never tried it,though.

It is a lot harder to prevent it. I use cheap powdered laundry detergent to kill and remove moss. I do this once a year and it keeps it at bay. Just lightly sprinkle the powered detergent on the roof and it will kill the moss. You can water it very lightly if there is no moisture in the air.
