Has a ouija board ever haunt your house?

Like completely ruined it. You can see people, hear things, IT'S CREEPING ME OUT! I used it in my house, I don't know what to do!!!!! How do I get rid of the ghosts pleeez help, I tried asking, putting salt, prayers, whatever, my dad says we should move but aghhhh HELP!!!

get some holy water from a church, pick a sprig off a growing plant. go into each room of your house and use the sprig to splash the holy water around .
Say `God bless this room in his name, in the name of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, and of all the angels and saints and cast out all unclean and evil intentioned spirits` . Repeat in each room including hall landing loft etc and in your garden if you feel threatened there.

Using a ouija board is like using a telephone without knowing the number, you have no idea who you are getting through to and it could prove extremely dangerous. burn the damn thing

The short answer to this is no. Despite what you see on TV Ouija board aren't actually used for contacting spirits. That was largely made up by the spiritualist movement, and Hollywood, as it was a cheap and easy way of doing things before SFX were invented. A Ouija board is really a tool for automatic writing. It uses the ideomotor effect to express information form your subconscious mind, rather than from a spirit. Everything that a Ouija board does it does through you, it's just a tool. In order for a somebody to contact a spirit using a Ouija board that person must be a medium, or have medium like spiritual abilities. If a person has these abilities then they can use the ideomotor effect to move the piece on a Ouija board to spell out messages, but the reality is that it's the person, not the board. The board is just a tool for doing the writing. You can use a Biro and a peace of paper with letters on it if you like. It's less showy, but just as effective. Some of the things that you describe "could" be signs that there is a spirit in your home. But I don't believe that this is related to the Ouija board. Paranormal investigators generally agree that a lot of the stuff that apparently happens after people use Ouija boards is just coincidence, and that in reality people just freak themselves out, and think that normal things are paranormal. You say that there was a year ago that she used the board. A spirit wouldn't act up and then sit dormant for a year, and then act up again for no reason. Spirits are consistent. If there was one a year ago it would have been haunting you for that year in pretty much the same way all the time. I can't explain what happened to you, it could be a spirit, but I think that it's unlikely. Unless your sister is a medium or has spiritual abilities there is pretty much no chance that she could have summoned something. Normal people don't just summon spirits using Ouija board. That's pure fiction. If your sister were a medium you'd probably know by now, and you'd probably have all kinds of weird stuff happening all the time, and she'd be doing things that would be important enough for you to have mentioned here. I can't explain what's going on in your home, it could be coincidence, it could be a prank, or you might have a spirit that's totally separate form the Ouija board incident.

Bells can drive away bad spirits. It's far more likely that you have a bad spirit than a ghost. Get some wind chimes and put a bell on the cat and tie them to doorknobs. Even get one you can ring whenever you feel uneasy. You'll need to ring it at least three times.

This is why most churches have a bell tower.

But really, unless it's really bad, like destroying stuff, it can be kinda fun to have a ghost wandering about. Don't freak out just because it's there---you'll drive yourself crazy. If it's just lumbering about and seeing what's up, don't let it bother you. But if it's breaking stuff, it's time to talk moving. But, and here's the bad news, sometimes, just sometimes, these things can follow you to the new place.

EDIT: I like to think that using a Ouija board is like surfing the net without an anti virus--You can pick up all kinds of nasty things that wreak havoc and just won't go away.

My brother and my cousin baught one of those 3-4 years ago. It was creepy. After that my little cousin kept seeing things at exactly 2:00 everyday. weiirrdd....so my aunt (a very religous person) told my brother that he had to get riid of it. He had to cut the ouji board into 7 peices and either bury it or burn it. They are really nothing to mess with. Here is a true story. The cousin that tried the board with my brother went to a religous retreat thingy. Its kind of like a camp. And during a ritual she got possesed by one of the spirits that she and my brother had encountered on the board. This happened only like a year ago, and they used the board over 3 years ago! Well it also turns out that one of her best friends had done witchcraft on her.....anywayz i hope i helped! good luck

Try to seek professional help, and look online for people who can deal with it in your local area. There have been many accounts in which people leave their houses in hope to rid of the thing. This will not help, so you can at least be settled with the fact that you don't need to move house. Carry on doing the other things while you try and find someone, and good luck!

from what i heard ouija boards cant hurt you they are just a toy that amplifies your natural talent, or maybe it attracted a spirit to you. bells can make them go away, and whatever you do nomatter what do not be afraid cause if its a bad spirit it will feast on you fear.

no actualy i have tried to use a ouija board but it didnt work but i wanted it to!!! anyways the reason is probably that an evil spirit was watching you and saw you... that is what i think.
