Yesterday I posted a question/statement that showed affection for my country, the United States of America. A majority of those who responded echoed my sentiment with the exception of two who showed hate for our country AND/OR hate for Republicans. Tonight I was notified by YA that my question was deleted. Then I post a question about why this question was deleted. Some of the responses I got were partisan and one person accused me of “ranting” in my first question.

Here is my first post that was deleted:
Deleted Question: God bless America, the greatest country on earth! My home.?
Question Details: There are so many on YA that show a dislike for our country. It’s sad that so many are our own citizens. I just wanted to say God bless America. She has carried us through so much and helped the peoples of other nations so many times. Our fighting men and woman are buried in foreign soil as a testament to that. God bless America!

One more thing, God bless our allies/friends around the world who at times have disagreed with us but would fight and die along side us!

***I understand that my first post wasn’t much of a question but I never expected it to be deleted or for our fellow Americans to have anger towards my statement. Is this the American generations of my family have fought for?
WHAT DO YOU THINK?

*********************************************************************************************Actualy it is a question by definition.

Websters dictionary also defines a question as:

A subject or point open to controversy; an issue.
or
A proposition brought up for consideration by an assembly.
or
To analyze; examine.

Just because a question mark may not be involve does not mean it is not a question.

I think Anti American sentiment ig growing rapidly within the liberal movement and needs to be stomped out. Mainstream America has rejected liberalism at every turn, it high time we stop this too.

It may get deleted because someone complained about it. I got censured for calling someone an idiot, never mind people calling others b*tches and worse.
There are a lot of people in answers who are quite liberal and do not agree with you. Also even though you may be signed in to yahoo U.S., a lot of people from other countries can still read and respond to questions. A lot of them hate the US, call us rednecks, etc. So quite possibly one of them reported you.
I love my country also, but it is the right of every American to have their own opinion. You just don't have to be nasty when expressing it and when you disagree with someone you don't have to be disrespectful to that person.

Man, I thought I had a right to be angry about them deleting one of my answers. The only beef I could see is that it wasn't exactly a question. At least you asked a question on this one. It is pretty sick that your "inflammatory" statement was deleted unless it was because it was not exactly a question.

It must have been mistakenly removed unless Bin Laden got a job at YAHOO. There's no justification for the removal. Re post it and see what happens. Now I'm curious.

Your first question did not contain any objectionable material. But one of the answers for this question is biased against blacks and mexicans.

Hey dude, sorry that people in this great nation have to be so stupid. Unfortunately Blacks and Mexicans are taking it over though, but theyll never really TAKE it over. Your just an American who would fight for your brothers and sisters anyday of the week. Dont worry cuz ill stick right by your side! Im a good ol country boy who thinks this country needs someone like Stone Cold Steve Austin for president, then all these gay people wouldnt be running around acting the way they do, and CERTAINLY our jobs wouldnt be overrun by those POS mexicans! And last but not least, us whites wouldnt be running around helping people during hurricane katrina while another color NOT HARD TO SEE IN LIGHT AREAS, were stealing merchandise from foot locker. This will be deleted but I dont care, I SUPPORT THE RED WHITE AND BLUE BABY!!!!!!!!! YEA!

Some liberals here are very sensitive and report anything they don't agree with. I've had the same thing happen to me numerous times.
