Most people are answering in terms of common beliefs, I guess.. I think you mean memories from before being conceived as well as before being born.... Although I have none of those memories lol, I actually am open to the idea that its possible.. I do believe in an afterlife, and if there is an afterlife, why could there not be something before too? I say its possible. :)

We might have some form of recognition and memory before birth, e.g. for our parents' voices or for music, as evidenced by some studies.

Generally, however, we are not able to explicitly recollect them, which would involve putting them into words, because our verbal systems are not well-developed at the time.

". I was "hibernating" in space and waiting, from what I remember, about 250,000 years passed before the right type of circumstances developed to be born on earth. " I saw this whilst I skimmed the crap you wrote. Did you mean 250,000 earth years, or years of a different planet? ___ "When I was in spirit form, my thinking was exactly the same as it is now. Your thinking does not change. It's your soul. " In which case, as a baby you'd have been able to communicate with your parents more coherently than any other baby in history, which I'm sure you didn't, because you're not famous for being the world's cleverest baby.

The myelin sheathing on the neurons isn't developed enough to store memories.

Also, one has memories based on significance and the interconnectedness of ideas. At a young age, you don't have much context for the memory.

Three old timers are rocking on the porch bragging about how far back they can remember. The first one says " I can remember sitting up in my crib one day and saying MA, MA for the first time and my mother getting all excited.
"That's nothing," says the second one," I remember floating in water, going through a dark tunnel and being pulled out into the light by a guy in a mask."
"I got you both beat," says the third old man, "I can remember going to a picnic with my father and leaving with my mother!"

Indian history is rich with such examples. Those who have read "Mahabharat" would know that Abhimanyu learned the skill of entering a battle field when his dad Arjun narrated it to his pregnant mother Subhadra .

Madalasa had great passion for knowledge during pregnancy and so all eight kids became great thinkers and sages. When her husband wanted one warrior son, she changed the destiny of her 9th son by merely changing her thought process.
