I think shes a puppet and a hypocrite...do you notice that she never made any negative remarks about gay people even though shes an ultra conservative...i think as much as she says she speaks her mind, shes afraid of the backlash...i think that is one challenging subject she will never give her opinion about btw...love gay people, cant stand her...

she sounds like a puppet cuz she lacks the ability to have any sound argument...how can we forget the topic about poor children needing health care that the government was going to cut and she says "well, where are their parents" Yes maybe the view is more left, but that gives me more reason to believe that there is some republican org. giving her some incentive to push that view forward because she despite all the drama she brings on the show, she is not at all convincing that these are her convictions

Well famous people know that controversial subjects, shouldn't be brought up as much. One word against homosexuality could help her loose her fan base. For example the guy from Grey's Anatomy. He was put in therapy. I personally do not believe in or agree with homosexuality but it's not my place to tell some one what they can and cannot do. I have my values and they have theirs, but I let my homosexual friends know how I feel about it and they are OK with that, sometimes they agree which is weird, but not every one takes that information the same way. And when you are famous you are dealing with a larger amount of people. Who all think and feel differently, the last thing you need is to hurt some mentally insane person's feelings causing them to go psycho on you. Or upset a journalist, so that they can over-exaggerate your response or misquote you making fans of yours offended. It's hard being famous, fame teaches you what to, and not to say to who, and when to say it. You must be on your toes all the time before you become like Rosie O'donald who now is voted the least liked celebrity, or something like that , I think I read something like that but may be I just heard it from some one, so don't take my word for that. But famous people can't always state their opinions.

I personally can't stand Elisabitch squawking on like a parrot, supporting the administration and this overhyped War in Iraq, repeating every lie and deception fed to us by the White House like she is George W. Bush's little Stepford Wife. She can't make a sound argument to save her life (at least, nothing the viewers believe) and she has to be INCREDIBLY stupid to back up vetoing troop pullouts when a bloody good majority of Americans do not favour this war, and want to see all the troops home and safe instead of killed. She doesn't have a clue in her head.

I'll try to be fair. I'm not a fan of Elisabeth's - no way. About the only thing nice I can say about her is that she's got good hair. She's very annoying - her opinions, her voice, - I just want to scream shut up. But....she's got 3 against her at the table - referring to political views. And those 3 have very big mouths. So she does the best she can with what she's got......not saying too much in her favor.

I dislike her on the show, especially since she is wayyyy to conservative and religious for my liking. She does however offer a different "view" on the show which is what makes the show interesting, she gives a voice to other Christian Bush supporting Americans in America. I miss Meradith and Rosie but look forward to Whoopie. I also hate how much she talks about her baby!

Shes kinda hott but annoying and pointless on that show because shes not a star...she was thrown on an island for a few weeks with a film crew and ate some fish...Who the hell cares what she has to say? I dont. But I dont watch the view- thank god.

She sounds like a broken record...also...she doesn't talk to the person...she talks at them. She doesn't care what people think or feel unless it's in agreement with her. Perhaps soon she will go away like Lisa "I'm So Superior To You" Ling did. One can only hope. You have to wonder how she's gonna cope once Bush leaves office......I wonder who's but she'll have her nose stuck up....

She rocks! just because she is a conservative doesn't mean she hates gay people! This is a common misconception. I am conservative and don't hate gays. Most of my friends are conservative and don't hate gays, even have gay friends. Why is she puppet? Because she is the only conservative voice on a show dominated by liberals. of course she isn't able to express all of her views on the VIEW, she is attacked by the other hosts.
FYI - she's not an ultra-conservative, as you said, she's a moderate.

I don't think that she does very much research into the topics she talks about. She comes across to me as someone who has low self-esteem and tries to force her opinions on everyone else. But I could be wrong.

She's irritating, screechy, self-righteous, in love with herself and only herself. She wants to be thought of as ultra-conservative because she thinks it is fashionable. If she were ultra-conservative, she would be at home not working.
