Abortion is murder. It doesn't matter if the embryo is only 1 month old or younger.....a life is a life.
If the child was unwanted......the parents should not have had sex -- or at least should have taken better preventative measures.

If the mother was raped..........I understand and feel for her if an abortion is what she wants -- but I still don't think it should be done.
As difficult as it may be for her -- she should let the child keep the gift of life. She doesn't have to be the one to raise it.

If a child has been conceived -- it should be carried full term and then allowed to be adopted by someone who does WANT to love and care for it.

The most popular line when speaking of a woman's choice to abort or not is , "It's her life -- her body"..............well what about the life and body of the unborn child?

If someone close to me had an abortion, I think that disappointment would be my strongest feeling towards them.

i'm a Christian and that i'm completely against abortion as a potential of delivery administration. although, there are particular situations the place abortion is the lesser of two evils. After my 0.33, very difficult, being pregnant i became into recommended to no longer have any further little ones because it would be very risky for my well being. I took precautions by using having a coil inserted yet, in spite of this, I did get pregnant and had to have the being pregnant terminated with the aid of fact i became into very ill certainly (my blood rigidity became into so intense it became into practically off the size). The docs instructed me that I had no decision - if i did no longer have the termination i'd die. So it became right into a count of save my existence or enable the two one human beings die. I had 3 different little ones and did no longer desire to circulate away them motherless. i became into approximately 12 - 14 weeks long gone as quickly as I had the termination and that i've got continually puzzled whether it became right into a boy or a woman. there became into no counselling 30 years in the past so I purely had to get on with it even however I suffered from panic assaults, melancholy and rigidity for years afterwards. My coronary heart became into broken and that i've got been on therapy for high blood pressure ever since so I evaluate myself very fortunate to be nonetheless alive all and sundry of those years later. If I had the alternative i would not have had a termination yet i think of in situations the place the mummy will die if the being pregnant keeps then there is not any decision. i did no longer desire to have the termination yet i'm happy that i became into waiting to make certain my different little ones improve up, get married and have little ones of their very own yet I nonetheless think of of the toddler that I lost.

I say abortion is a personal choice that an individual should decide. Nobody should tell a woman what they can or can't do with their body or forced their beliefs on someone else. Abortion has many issues and sides with no right or wrong answers. As long as it is not use as a form of birth control. People who always say put the child up for adoption their are to many children in adoption agency that they are over crowed and only a small percentage adopt. We need better birth control method and education. But it is not my place to judge.

"what do you feel about abortion and why?"
In cases of rape, incest, if a baby is a danger to the mother's health, if the baby is deformed, if severe mental or other severe illness run in the family, etc. I think it should be left up to the woman. In most other cases, I'm against it.

"how would you feel if someone close to you had one?"
I used to be really pro-life (thanks to Catholic School brainwashing) until a personal incident got me thinking about what happens to women that get raped, etc. (That answer "They can just put the baby up for adoption" is BS.) That got me thinking about other situations, etc. and now I regret being that blind in the past. What it all comes down to is that if the baby is not her fault or if it is going to have a terrible life, it's up to the mother. If someone close to me had one for a good reason, I’d understand. (And if it was a family member I’d be one of the few people to because of my ultra-religious family. They are the type of people that scream at my dad and throw fits on holidays because we don’t go to church, lol.) If it was for the wrong reason….. I’d feel bad about it and probably try to avoid the situation. (I wouldn’t want to deal with that because we wouldn’t agree, but I also wouldn’t want to hurt them.)

Those are my answers. ;-D

I dont think abortions are the right choice in most cases (the only cases I would think abortion would be ok would be teenagers and rape victims) but women should be able to get abortions if they want to. It's their body they should be able to choose to do what they want to do with it. If someone close to me had one I would be dissapointed in them (assuming they were not a teenager or rape victim). If my girlfriend had an abortion I would be really upset and might even break up with her. I just think it's really irresponsible for some adults to use abortions as a kind of birth control.

Pregnancy shouldn't be treated like a disease that you can just go to the doctor for and get rid of. A baby is not a disease.

I think it's the woman's choice really. I wouldn't mind if someone close to me had one. I'm not against abortion. I don't think it should be used as a form of birth control, though. Like, people shouldn't not protect themselves because they think it's okay to get pregnant because they can have an abortion.

It is sad, scary, emotionally devastating, physically uncomfortable, sometimes the only answer that can be rational, sometimes medically necessary, should not be used as a form of birth control, should not be performed after 10 weeks unless medically necessary, and should not be judged unless you can walk in the person's shoes that has chosen this option. I've been there.
First I would make sure my friend knew all of the options available to them, then support them in their decision.
I am not a guy.

I'm not on this earth to judge another person's heart. I could never have an abortion. That heart beat starts early and then you are committing murder. Those are my thoughts. But, who am I to tell another what is right/wrong for them. I won't do that. To me and for me abortion is wrong and a sin.
