For me the best part of the 90s was simply growing with my friends from elementry school through high school.
I remember the Ken Griffey jr jersey Seattle Mariners baseball jersey that my dad bought me since he was my favorite non Orioles player growing up.
I remember when the Orioles where a lot more competative in the 90s than they have been over the last several years.
I didn't grow up in the same town as Cal Ripken jr. of Aberdeen MD but I grew up in the Baltimore metro area like he did. I remember a lot of people wearing the "Cal Ripken Jr 2131 I was there" t-shirts after he broke Lou Gehrig's (Yankees hall of famer, friend and teammate of Babe Ruth) consecutive games played record of 2,130 straight games which was the top record for that feat.
I remember when MTV used to play rock music on a regular basis. I remember my best friend introducing me to song by Candlebox called "Far Behind" that sparked my interest into listening to music, specifically rock.
I remember when Super Nintendo first came out and any gamer in the US from elementry school to high school had their jaw dropping at the 16 bit graphics, Legend of Zelda a Link the Past ruled the video game world. (Me? I was more into the Final Fantasy games and Super Mario World that came out for Super Nintendeo before FF became popular on Playstation).
And I could on, but I think that's good for now.

I liked the latter end of the 90s, but then again, that's the only part that I remember. I liked the pop/rock music, the NOW CDs, and Disney movies. I also liked the futuristic gold and silver fashions. They are funny to look back on now. And ROLLERSKATING!!! Does anyone still do that anymore?

I'm sorry to disagree, but the music was great. Look at the 80's, music was laughable and everyone dressed like a sideshow freak.
Todays music, for the most part, I find very boring. There are exceptions ou there, but not many.

Good movies, good music (rock and top 40), clothes were much better than the 80's (thank god), and my hair did not have to be 25 inches high (saved a lot of money on hair spray).
