consider this story:
A young couple for years decided to save to their future. One day their dream was realized. The husband bought a new Nissan car and gave it to his wife. He washed the car and wiped it clean everyday. He watched over it tenderly so that no scratch was allowed on the car.
One day his wife took it for her shopping. While returning, the car collided against a motorcycle and the headlights and windscreen were smashed. She was terribly upset and cried. She thought about her husband who so fondly guarded the car.
The appraiser asked her for the insurance policy. When she pulled out the papers she found a small note. It read: " In case of an accident, Honey, remember it's you that I love not the car."

Oh my gosh, that is so SWEET! I was all "awww!" when I read what the note said.

Anyway... I don't look for the price tags on gifts. And no matter if the gift was cheap, I don't really mind, and still appreciate it. After all, it's the thought that matters. And looking for a price tag on a gift sorta defeats the spirit of gift-giving. ^_^

No, I do not.

In fact, I consider the simplest, cheapest gifts that people give me to be among the things that I cherish the most. Pencils have been given to me by kids that I will not let go of for any reason because I cherish the gesture and the kindness.

A very nice story.

We can't deny the fact that sometimes we are curious how much a certain stuff would cost, how much more for a gift we receive. That's a human nature especially now that we are living in a materialistic world.

Aww that's a very nice story. lol. no I don't look for price tags. But before, I used to forget to peel off price tags in my gifts, especially if I'm the one wrapping them, due to excitement. lol. I love giving gifts to my loved ones.

Even if it was accidentally left on the item, I would resist lookinh at it. It is so unromantic to see how much the giver bought the gift for.

I usually dont look but if it is something that I know that I cannot or will never use, then I usually try and figure out where it came from and exchange it for something that I will truly get good use out of

honestly, no. gift papers alone cost a lot these days. so if someone gave me a gift and took a lot of effort wrapping it, i keep the gift and wrapper and all.
