I don't think I could do your job, but I bet you'd enjoy the newspaper business.

How did you become a gunslinger???

I love the fantasy of being a cop, based on TV heroes, but that old "flight responce" is kicking in when i think twice about your job!

When I drive down the street my focus is strait down at my lane, only noticing if oncoming traffic is in my lane. I'd only notice a robbery if an alarm was sounding!!!

My son Greg was diagnosed ADHD, and he's distracted by a thousand details all around us as we go down the street, including who is on the sidewalk, and what are they doing.

I can enjoy a day of peaceful TV watching, bum-to-bum on the love seat with my good wife Cece.

On the contrary, Greg has to DO something all the time, and can't stand to watch TV for eben 15 minutes.

Of course TV is a wasteland. More power to him!

He wanted to be a fireman, but we talked him out of it.

He'd make a great police officer. He is trustworthy, honest and energetic.

He once saved a teen girl's life (no brag!), when she was being severely beaten. He also dared to give true testimony, despite intimidation and many threats, causing the assailant to change his plea to guilty.

I don't want him to be a cop...only due to the hardship and danger...but he thinks my idea of driving an ambulance would be boring.

I suggested he join the Coast Guard, to stay HOME in Canada, away from foreign wars like Afganastan, but our only son has applied to join the military. (An M.P. no doubt.)

odd question,
Mike P

You would be enjoying nice, sunny weather here in Southern California while I would be in NY, enjoying the recent resurgence of the Bronx Bombers at Yankee Stadium.

Rae, if you were ME, you'd be here in Northern Minnesota enjoying the nice cool weather, the beauty of nature and the sounds of the wildlife and the winds blowing through the trees. And if I were YOU I'd be right here enjoying it WITH you. (((((Rae)))))
