No, I think it's great that you keep a diary. Your grandchildren and great-grandchildren will LOVE reading every word. Plus 100years from now people will gather to see it in a museum.

I'm 45 and have journaled since I was 17. It is just magnificent to go back and re-read stuff from time to time. I've always been just brutally honest -- in other words, I never self-edited with some expectation that someone would ever read it -- so what I wrote was vivid and actual.

Old pictures are fine to remember distant experiences. But a journal entry is like a time machine -- BAM, I'm back in the moment.

NO! i have 4! one is a song book and too me it's like a dairy!
and i have one for my thoughts about the world and i have one for the things that happend to me. It's good to have a Dairy!! Because it helps people get there emoticons out!!

i got a diary, then realized my life isn't interesting enough to write about so it has turned into a poetry diary
