This poll is not for a study I am doing. I am curious how many people expect things/happiness/thrills immediately.

No! That would be nice...but it's not very realistic! I have learned with age...to just be patient and wait my turn like everyone else! =D

There are times when things may not turn out to be what we wanted. It's from this point of time in which we will strive and turn the results the other way round to make it right. Smiles and happiness will gradually follow, not gratification.

Once gratification begins, whatever high hope that we once had may just be dashed as expectations are not lowered and over-confident. In the end, we may lose everything that we've once hoped for.

To me, I will take gradual gratification to understand the role I am in and as the saying goes :"Learn To Walk Before You Fly".

Cheers :)

Absolutely not ! That would be unrealistic.
Patience is a virtue, and all good things come to those
who wait.
