Here's the question:

Deleted Question: God bless America, the greatest country on earth! My home.?

Question Details: There are so many on YA that show a dislike for our country. It’s sad that so many are our own citizens. I just wanted to say God bless America. She has carried us through so much and helped the peoples of other nations so many times. Our fighting men and woman are buried in foreign soil as a testament to that. God bless America!

One more thing, God bless our allies/friends around the world who at times have disagreed with us but would fight and die along side us!

*******************************************************************************Actualy it is a question by definition.

Websters dictionary also defines a question as:

A subject or point open to controversy; an issue.
or
A proposition brought up for consideration by an assembly.
or
To analyze; examine.

Just because a question mark may not be involve does not mean it is not a question.

I asked a question about panties...sexy panties lol...and it was immediately deleted :P

YA are not 'libtard' atheist communists...that is all rubbish hog-wash. It simply wasn't properly phrased as a question, and some moderator assumed it to be a likely controversial statement so he/she deleted it. Don't worry about.
You could always try posting again and see what happens...?

Please, those lambasting people for being 'liberal' understand not all liberals (and in fact NONE I know) hate America or God... I am a christian and I don't identify at all with the conservative corrupted right-wing. I am more 'liberal' though I wouldn't type cast myself as such because I am moderate.
God bless!

Yeah, I agree with you that America is the greatest country on earth. It's my dream to go to America. Not only me but most of our people here in the Philippines wanted to go there not just for a change but for the great opportunities it offers. In the past I learned that America has given assistance to third world countries. The assistance given cannot be surpassed by any country in the whole world. God Bless America the place of my dream.

It was probably removed because you never really ask a question. Everything is a statement, when you post a question, it needs to be a question, no matter what type of post it is. If you truly do feel that the question is not a violation, you can post an appeal to the Violation Appeals Board. A Yahoo! staff member will either tell you what the violation was and it will stand or it will be given a second review and possibly reinstated.

Yep, I know how that goes. Thank you for the blessings. We can all use as many blessings from God as we can get. In Vietnam, we had Aussies, Brits, Francos and others helping us fight and we surely did appreciate them and still do, they are suffering as we are (PTSD, Agent Orange, and all the rainbow of agents that the US dumped on us), so to Bless them too is a grand gesture! Thank you and May God Bless you, too

What?? I remember seeing that question and I thought it was very good! The sense I got from it was that it was a 'unifier' and a very nice change from the divisive nature of so many questions. The answers seemed to reflect the same feelings. That was so wrong to delete it!!

After reading so many answers.. yeah, I guess technically it wasn't a question... but it was still a very nice sentiment and refreshing change from the mean stuff! ~~Cheers!

That's a good question -

I think part of the reason the U.S. gets flack is due to hostile economic policy and activities of groups such as the CIA/state department and DOD, who are active and have military bases all around the world. I think when you spread yourself out like that you have the oppourtunity to draw more critizism.

A lot of it stems from years and years ago (some countries like Great Britain vented some steam - like when they burnt down the whitehouse) when the US did things like the Monroe Doctrine (this side of the the world is ours) and Occupation of Japan (with drunken marines) - and unpopular conflicts like the vietnam war - and blockade of cuba.

Sans the UK few countries actually fight wars for territory outside their own countries - or attempt (and maybe even do it 1 in every 20 or 50 shots) to overthrow governments anywhere and everywhere.

It also has "reserved" a huge chunk of Antartica for some unknown reason. (oh and they planted a flag on the moon...(it fell over though)

It has been a leader in space (which is very slowly declining) it also has one of the biggest economies in the world and trades globally (probably likely to piss off the merchant class in other countries so effected) not to mention issues like the soft lumber issue when the US withheld illegally aquired proceeds from Canada.

those of course a just a drop in the bucket of US offenses (not even mentioning all the war crimes, and instances of illegal espionage (even in allied countries)
So there are lots of reasons why - wars and general disregard can at times be the reason for that - they also pick sides -- -for instance israel vs. the arab world.

and had a cold war with russia for about 40 years (spying on them etc..)

the CIA prisons fiasco etc.. probably doesn't help because it reminds the world (yah we break your countries laws and really don't care - we'll lie to your face about it too (it'd be illegal here too why do you think we're breaking your laws - he'll you think we'd survive attacks by our own kind' we're the freaken us' attitude likely doesn't go all chummy with those other countries... but I'm guessing there's lots - like the albanians (go figure) who seem to love the red white and blue.. (kosovo might have something to do with that though --- sans yugoslavia --

hey I guess you win some and you loose some.

the ones that actually like you move to the US, and join up. It's not like they'd survive in their own country as traitors and all the CIA out and about.

with half a grain of salt.

YA probably is just in disbeleif cause they don't like word getting out that some people don't like "America"

And God bless you! I thank God for people like you and wished there were more as God has truely blessed this country and I'm sure nothing pleases Him more than to have someone be grateful for it!

Probably because its wasnt a Q.

Why should God bless a nation that rules that babies are the property of the mother and can be killed as long as they havent been born yet? Where he is routinely rejected and taught that he doesnt exist in taxpayers schools?

Yahoo deletes the questions & answers that get reported by more then one person, regardless of the reasons that they were reported.

You have to fit an actual question in there somewhere.

And yes its been pointless for me to contact them about fake reports and deleted questions.
