When you say "Neocon" I *think* you mean trashy, pseudo-republican candidates like Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney.

Starting a new party would be a good, and maybe only way for REAL conservative candidates like Ron Paul to gather steam in the long run while still distancing themselves from the current Republican party.

Well according to wikipedia, a neocon is a recent convert from liberalism which mostly took place in the 60's. There IS a very strong liberal presence in the republican party nowadays and its sickening. Whether its coming from neo-conservatives, Im not sure. But true conservatives need to start girding up and rejecting the liberal notions of big taxes, huge govt, and social issues like abortion.

I do not agree with the concept of being taken over by Neo-Cons as this is a left wing lie.

Every party is being controlled by interest and this is important to understand each of us has his/ her own best interest at heart. A father or mother may and should have their children's future at heart as well as their wel being to seek this out goal out in life.
A business has his interest to make money to provide for the workers and investors and bankers so he can do the same.
A religious organization has their goals to seek out and guild their people in life.

And for the left they only want to seek out to control so they have power with ut guilt which is based on morals. By this they do not want confrontation and are willing to suppress any by any and all means.

So what is the deference of the so called neo cons and the Communist left both seeking to control for their own best interest. Not much when you get down to it except who is willing to destroy to obtain it?

Th left play to the wacko Cindy she who and the right to how ever has the loudest voice. And business is keeping us all going and when this fails we all lose every one. But there must be checks and balances no matter who is in control and as we did with the Amnesty bill most be heard and hold them accountable.
WE THE PEOPLE!

I believe we need to threaten to leave the party if it strays too far away from conservative agenda, and threaten to start a third party.

First and only plan: get enough people to agree with whatever your conservative principles are. Right now they don't. Come up with principles, express them, encourage people to vote for your candidates. Don't go screwing with the elections, strategizing how to cancel peoples' votes, "purging the rolls," etc. Have something positive that people can agree with.
